Your role: Business development & growth projects

Your mission is to delight our customers. You will report directly to the Country Head in Switzerland. You will connect with many borrowers/issuers and capital providers to understand their needs and define what is the digital service that will delight them. Your analytical mind will be able to synthetize a wide range of information and turn it into patterns and business opportunities. Your business development acumen and joy to interact with customers will enable you to leverage and build your network and test and scale such opportunities in significant contributions to Loanboox’ success. After 2 years in this role and a very steep learning curve about business development, digital products, business strategy and management of a high growth business, your career will grow with the company’s success. 

Requirements

Your skillset, attitude and experience

To be successful in this role you need the following:

  • You have several years of experience, including:
    • Experience in a top tier bank, asset manager or consultancy, ideally in fixed income
    • Experience in business development, B2B sales or managing partnerships
    • Experience in a start-up, ideally a fintech
  • Attitude fit: 
    • You have a passion to interact and engage with customers to satisfy their needs
    • You have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with borrowers and senior fixed income investors
    • You are passionate – when you grab a topic you commit to it fully
    • You are a hard worker – you know that high growth does not happen by accident
    • You are analytical, creative and solution oriented – there are no problems, only solutions yet to be implemented
  • You are familiar with debt products (e.g. loans, private placements and bonds) and companies’ financials
  • You speak Swiss-German & are fluent in English, French and/or Italian are a plus
  • You are tech-savvy
