Your role: Business development & growth projects

Your mission is to delight our real estate customers in relation to their debt financing needs. You will report directly to the  Country Head in Switzerland. You will connect with many borrowers/issuers and capital providers to understand their needs and define what is the phygital (physical & digital) service will fit them best. Your real estate financing experience, network and analytical mind will allow you to synthetize a wide range of information and turn it into patterns and business opportunities. You will be directly responsible for sourcing and executing debt financing transactions.

Requirements

Your skillset, attitude and experience

To be successful in this role you need the following:

  • You have 5-6 years of experience, including:
    • Proven experience in the field of secured financing transactions in the institutional real-estate market, property valuations for a top tier bank, asset manager or consultancy
    • Extensive knowledge of the secured lending end to end process and documentation
    • A network within the Swiss real estate market, with borrowers/issuers active in the income producing real-estate sector as well as to the institutional capital providers active in this sector
    • Experience in a start-up, ideally a fintech is a plus
  • Attitude fit: 
    • You have a passion to interact and engage with customers to satisfy their needs
    • You have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with borrowers and senior fixed income investors
    • You are a hard worker – you know that high growth does not happen by accident
    • You are analytical, creative and solution oriented – there are no problems, only solutions yet to be implemented
  • You are familiar with debt products (e.g. loans, private placements and bonds) and companies’ financials
  • You speak Swiss-German & are fluent in English, French and/or Italian are a plus
  • You are tech-savvy
